Many of the milestones of early adulthood can be daunting. Postsecondary education, embarking on building a career, and navigating relationships brings about a lot of change. Many people wind up feeling nervous, overwhelmed, and uncertain about the future, and struggle to manage their demands and cope with stress. It is also a time of life where many people feel uncomfortable in their own skin. Perhaps you can relate. Maybe you are also feeling down, empty, and unmotivated. I understand this is a time where you may need extra support and help to develop coping skills to meet the demands of your life.
I will spend time getting to know you and the unique challenges in your life. We will then work collaboratively to tailor our work to your unique needs. I draw from various approaches including CBT, DBT, trauma-focused interventions, self-compassion, mindfulness, and supportive counselling. You don’t have to navigate this time alone.
A good connection with your therapist is essential to facilitate growth and a phone consultation can help us decide if we are a good fit for working together. Please reach and take advantage of a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation in order to do so.
